I think it is faithful to the original in ways that were not needed, like having no saves files, which is a shame since it is very difficult and at times I want to take a break, especially now that it has more levels, in fact to finish the game I had to put the Switch on sleep mode and couldn't play anything else for like 2 days, maybe even a complete level select would have done it, to avoid playing the opening level over and over again. What do you think? Maybe some of these are actually in the game but hidden, idk. Thankfully the remake of Ninja Warriors didn't have nearly as many issues and I preferred it for that reason. Reloaded is great but with all of these issues I think it could have been much better. ![]() Finally you can play the game with the original ost but the way to unlock it is absurdly difficult, not worth it at all imo It has no online, the only official way to play the game online is the original on NSO oddly enough. I have not played the game on multiplayer, but it seems it has only one continue in this case, what sense does that make? the original wasn't like that, so in that case it's not being faithful. Also a twin stick gameplay or with motion controls would have been great, the recent re release of Gleylancer has something like that, the original scheme work fine but it's not perfect. Also as far as I have seen some leves are restricted to difficulty levels, so if you want to play every level on normal, too bad, you can't. As far as I have seen the bonus rounds were eliminated ![]() However it is also a game that frustrates me, since it makes so many choices that make no sense that in some ways and I don't get it: A few years ago we saw the release of Wild Guns Reloaded on multiple systems, a remake of the SNES cult classic by Natsume, Wild Guns, and in many ways it is superb, faithful to the original in many ways but with gorgeous pixel art that you wouldn't find in neither the SNES or the Saturn or PS1, and adding substantial new content, in fact it was so good that we have seen similar project taking Ninja Warriors Again and Pocky and Rocky after it with a similar formula.
